Conversations
Think physical fitness, but for your money.
Financial Fitness is about how healthy and strong your financial life is, not just how much money you make, so you're prepared when life lifes.
What is Financial Fitness?
Financial Fitness is bigger than just one number.
How much you make matters. But so does what you keep, what you owe, what you have access to, how you’re preparing for the future, and what happens financially when life doesn’t go according to plan.
It’s how the pieces of your financial life work together.
What is a Financial Fitness Conversation?
Every week, we choose a different money or business topic and have a real conversation about it.
We ask questions. We look at different perspectives. We break things down in plain English. And we connect the conversation to real life.
You may learn something new, hear something differently, finally ask the question you’ve been thinking about, or simply listen.
Is this conversation for you?
You don’t need to be a financial expert.
You don’t need to own a business.
You don’t need to have your finances all figured out.
You just need to be curious.
WHAT MIGHT WE TALK ABOUT?
Because financial decisions are life decisions.
THE MONEY STUFF
Taxes · Cash flow · Debt · Savings · Business · Retirement · Risk
THE LIFE STUFF
Family · Kids · Aging parents · Entrepreneurship · Building something · Protecting what matters · Preparing for change · Leaving something behind
There’s usually a person, a goal, a responsibility, or a life decision behind the numbers.
That’s what makes these conversations matter.
FINANCIAL FITNESS ISN'T A FINISH LINE.
You wouldn't wait until you were physically fit to start going to the gym.
And once you're fit, you don't stop taking care of yourself.
Financial Fitness works the same way.
Your life keeps changing. Your money has to keep up.
Your priorities shift. Your responsibilities grow. People may depend on you, and you may find yourself depending on others.
And sometimes, the person who made the financial decision 5, 10, or 20 years ago isn't the same person making decisions today.
So Financial Fitness isn't something you finish. It's something you keep working on.
There will always be something to learn, strengthen, prepare for, or understand better.
COME ONCE. COME OFTEN. BRING FRIENDS.

MEET YOUR HOST
Hi, I'm Martha.
I've spent almost 30 years talking with people about money, taxes, business, and the financial decisions that come with real life.
And here's something I've learned along the way: money conversations don't have to be complicated, intimidating, or uncomfortable.
You don't have to know all the right words. You don't have to have the right answers. And you definitely don't have to pretend you understand something when you don't.
At Financial Fitness Conversations, we'll ask good questions. We'll make complicated things easier to understand. We'll share different perspectives. And sometimes, we'll talk about the life behind the numbers, because that's usually what matters most.
Some weeks we'll laugh. Some weeks we'll think. Some conversations may get personal. You can talk, ask questions, or simply listen.
So come as you are. Bring your questions and your curiosity.
We're just talkin'.
